The Tina looks very nice indeed Guy.
I spotted a very old and almost pristine Fiat 500 yesterday morning. As I was looking at it the owner (an elderly gentleman) came out of a shop and started talking to me about it. I explained that I didnt speak Italian, so he then proceeded to do a few laps around the centre of the town, as fast as its little wheels would take it - in true Italian style. It made my day. :)

Thanks all.
AA. Not sure which model said vauxhall is. All i know is it's pre war & was very advanced in it's day being monocoque body & hydraulic brakes.

Tony Web. Was the Riley an RME or RMA? Got me thinking now. The beige Consul is owned by a bloke called Glenn & really is a minter. One of the first mk 2's being a late 50's hi line model & worth a pretty penny.
Opti, yes i had to indulge myself & the Cortina with her new white stripe. Still some fuel & bodywork issues to sort but if i a classic is NEVER finished, that's half the fun!

Albs. Did you know all the old Fiat 500's were crash boxes?

Those lovely Italian ladies back in the 60's must have had strong thighs!!! :P ::)

Thos pics bring back some memories to me, my dad had both the zodi and the zephyr, but the zodi shades it for me, i would love to buy that for my dad, just to see the smile on his face.

Having looked at the pics again, I think the Riley is neither an RME or an RMA! Think it's an RMD, but also think it may not be an original drophead, but a later conversion.

Re the Vauxhall - its hard to be sure without being able to see the grille, but I reckon its a DX 14/6, probably a '35 or '36 model.
