It did not do John Nettles a lot of good either. ;D ;D Poor chap must have been quite affected by all the blood and guts, because, during the filming, he rented a cottage up the road and when he vacated, he left a legacy of empty booze containers etc, etc for someone else to clear up. :y ;D ;D
I know this cuz I was working next door :y

may be a storyline follow on from bergerac and the crap motors they made him drive.

Maybe the lead characters were ok, but the flaws in the story line / screen presentation were awful! :( :(

The lead character flirty "schoolgirl" looked at least 25 years of age, and I am sure the actress is!

The murdered young "DJ" was murdered after he went on his knees in front of the car that would go forward to kill him, of course suiting the script for the murderer who had to have the lad do that to have any hope of killing him, but in a way that was completely illogical!  Would you go down on your knees in front of a car you had just started?  No, you would jump up, run along the side of the car celebrating! ::) ::) :D :D :D

Then there was the ludicrous situation of the murdered lad being taken away on a stretcher with a starting handle sticking out of his chest, uncovered in any way, past lines of young schoolgirls, with some of them dancing around the crime scene taking phone camera pictures, whilst fully covered forensic personnel gathered evidence!  What a load of rubbish!  No police office would have allowed any of that to happen, especially at a public girls school with parents who would readily sue for psychological harm done to their darling daughters witnessing a dead body in such a gruesome manner!  To have evidence gathering to take place in such circumstances anyway.........well any court would throw at any "corrupted" evidence!!

I could go on, but the produceres will have to do better than that in future if MSM is going hold an prime evening slot!! ::) ::)

 ;)

That was the other thing that worried me about this episode Aaron :P :P.

Any man who "likes" looking at nubile young girls in short skirts, and one who as I say was well over 21, would have had a field day!! :o :o :o :o ;D ;D ;)

I don't see an issue? Being totally honest, you don't see many Black, Asian or any other non White races in many villages. I also have to echo what Lizzie said no one has had a problem before, so why now?

Oh and I also agree with Lizzie saying how old that girl looked, she can't be 16 because I thought she was rather nice and that'd be just wrong on so many levels  :D

Clearly the ethnic minorities have far too much sense to move to such a place where life expectancy is about 3 weeks.
Meanwhile for pure ridiculous entertainment after a hard days work it dont get much better than this...........

"Then there was the ludicrous situation of the murdered lad being taken away on a stretcher with a starting handle sticking out of his chest, uncovered in any way, past lines of young schoolgirls, with some of them dancing around the crime scene taking phone camera pictures, whilst fully covered forensic personnel gathered evidence!"

Comedy gold that was.
