Bravest of the Brave
« on: 25 March 2011, 13:55:00 »

He is Acting Sergeant Dipprasad Pun, who lives down here in Ashford.  A Gurkha, yet again, displaying extreme bravery in action, who has been awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross. :y :y :y

He single handed fought off over 12 Taliban, some reports put it as high as 30, using 250 rounds of ammo, hand grenades, then his machine gun tripod and a sandbag!

Let us all salute him, and all our brave guys and girls in the military :y :y :y :y :y :y :y :y

As amazing race of people the Nepalese ...... extremely friendly, but ferocious in battle... wonderful friends .... appalling enemies....

and they make an absolutely fantastic curry .....   :)

Britain should be proud to have such a nation as a friend.
