I've been to Haggeston Castle holiday park
So have I. One of the better ones imho.

I'm currently sat in a mobile home in another Haven site in the land of Sheep Shaggers.

Haggeston Castle rules, haven't been there for a while though. I'm getting a very cheap tourer imminently. When I say cheap, I mean cheap. So I will have to introduce it to the beasts!

Try Riverside Meadows at Ripon, great for a family but not a Haven type site ::) but only a few minutes from lighidioter Valley. Good club house, child friendly, see you at Easter, if you can get booked in.. :D  We have a Static on the site....no towing pikey wagons.. :D :D :D

Its nothing more than a bloody roadblock. Get a tent, then you dont piss off other road users...  ...bloody pikeys ;D

I pitch my tent aswell! It's something to temper my speed, and more comfy than a tent
IN which case, you are doing the tenting all wrong ;)

We tend to use Haven purely because you know you'll get a consistently good accomodation - much like Beefeater steaks, not the cheapest, and not the best, but just 'good'. Also, you have the fallback from them if something isn't right or needs fixing.

Never, ever go with any intention of using the onsite entertainment/food etc etc - we're always out for the day, and either go out or cook in evenings, rarely ever go to main complex.

£250 for a week for 5 of us for a new model mobile home, with gas-to-radiator central heating, cant really complain. Shame I spent at least the same again on petrol  :'(
