hey im new to this forum. I'm considering buying an omega elite, 3lt v6 estate. Whats your opinion on this car? :y

Its a large car, capable of shifting large loads. Decent engine with plenty of mid range power, but thirsty in this day and age of high petrol prices

The Omega estate has a huge amount of boot space when the seats are down I think its over six feet long.
Another thing is what have you being used to driving and putting fuel in? If you are used to 56 mpg your in for a shock. Knocking around you will get about 23mpg, 30 odd on a run at sensible speeds. Obviously a heavy foot brings down the mpg.  :y

Welcome to the forum  :y To add to what has been said the Elite comes with lots of toys and is a very comfortable mile munching machine. with Bose ice as standard. A well built motor that if it had a three pointed star or BMW badge on the bonnet instead of a griffin would command considerably higher resale prices.With the Omega you get a lot of bang for your bucks. Yes it has it's faults but show me a car that doesn't

love the elite. if i had money and was a little bit more mental id buy an estate to go with my salloon.
