Qualy was good, but we saw none of it as rather usual.   >:(. 4 or 5 contenders all pushing the times in the closing stages, but all we saw of these quick laps was each car cross the line down the straight.  :-?

While BBC's coverage is far better than itv's ever was, the standard is shite! Even Eurosport could do a better job and they couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery. Just show us drag racing and make the times up, save the beeb a fortune.  >:(

Still looking forward to the race though, :y  even though it will be interlaced with shots of static spectators in pit garages....   Sigh!

Pretty good race, Heidfeld's good start pretty much prevented the McLaren's from having a go at Vettel.

Petrov's flight was very entertaining. ;D

Good squabble between Hamilton and Alonso near the end, Hamilton's pace seemed to mysteriously disappear in the 2nd half of the race.

Both Alonso and Hamilton have received 20 second penalties.  Hamilton for weaving twice to defend his position, Alonso for causing an avoidable collision.  This keeps Alonso 6th, Hamilton demoted to 8th.  Don't think either penalty was necessary tbh, besides Vettel moved just as much at the start of the race!

I sometimes pretend my car has DRS by getting within one second of another car and then pushing the remote boot release.  :P

Enjoyed the race. Plenty of overtaking and incidents.

Not a bad race but other teams need to start catching up with Red Bull or it's going to be a really boring season. ::)
I see Hamilton got hit with a 20 second penalty after the race for weaving in front of Alonso just before Alonso ran into the back of him so ended up in 8th place. Hopefully, there'll be a few more "ding-dongs" between these two as the season goes on which should make it a bit more entertaining. ;)

I'm fairly sure that rule has been in place for 10 years or more.. it'd be a very boring race if nobody could overtake and those that tried got taken off the track, anyway!

I thought it was a pretty good race, nice to see Jenson back up there, couldn't have been nice for Petrov going without steering at 150+  :D :D :D

I bet the landing hurt like a wotsit, too.. can't have been fun landing with basically no suspension, no padding on your seat and at that speed.. He'll be sitting on an inflatable donut for the next race  ;D
