Thats just touched the surface, I have 2 or 3 paintball markers that I would hate to get tagged with, and was warned when I was getting involved buying them never to even wave them in public as it's possible the armed rozzs's might get a call out.

So yes, am amazed they just got a warning.

I was hit in the cheek many years ago by a "stray" paintball round, whilst wiping the sweat off my face, hurt like hell, and left a large mark. These are not toys at all, but are capable of quite bad wounds at close ranges, even in one extreme case with a temple shot has actually caused death.

The paintball guns they were using weren't the real mc'coy by a long shot, they were nothing more than kids toys.

Still a f*cking stupid thing to do though, because while the gun/pellet wasn't capable of causing injury when making contact with most parts of the body (eg, legs, arms, torso), I have no doubt it would definately hurt (and stand a real chance of causing injury) if that pellet were to hit someone in the eye instead.

Looking on the plus side though, at least they weren't caught glamourising drugs or real firearms that most of them seem to do these days.

It's a sad..no tragic reflection on the british public when so called bands like N Dubz & the like make it into the charts without a shred of musical ability, make cretinous uh uh primate noises & then demand to be respected?
