I can't think of anything that would scare me more, personally.. ;D ;D

I wouldn't take the Omega on track (quite apart from it being an automatic Elite ;D) - it's just not the right kind of car unless you're on a big, high speed track. Even then you'll spend all day with everything whizzing past you..

If you want a (car) track toy, pick up £500s worth of 1.8 clit (old shape), or a decent 205 GTi, or go up to £800 or so and pick up a Mk1 MX5 - they all handle like gokarts, reliable and in the case of the MX5 have buckets of tuning parts available.

Though you will need to buy a hair dryer.... ;D

Anyway.. now I read the message you said 'other cars' ;D I need to wake up, apparently.

So yes - in the MR2 I've done a few, great fun! Anglesey was the last, in the pouring rain  :D

Marham is a good one to do but i thinks its by invite only.

Was meant to be one last weekend i think but got canned at the last moment due to operational committments but atleast i might have the Nova ready for the next meet

same thing, just depends how long this Libya thing goes on

RAF didn't think it would be a good idea to have cars racing on the runway while the GR4's were trying to take off

But hopefully it will back in the summer

I think it might have been interesting but probably wouldn't have remained "non-competitive" ;).

Might have been worth bringing the bike for a wee bite at the tyres.  ;D
