The countryside is also a cacophony of noise.

There's a long established rookery in trees opposite my house - the noise from what seems to be in excess of 150 birds really does need to be heard to be beleived.

There's also a flock of sheep in the field beside me - they're noisy bastaads as well.

Large agricultural machines are driven with such verve that the noise rattles the windows in the house and when the field rollers are dragged from field to field, without being lifted from the road, it’s like an earthquake.

The gas powered scarecrow near me might start up soon. Las tyear from 7am - 9pm every day it went off every few minutes. Its like someone stood in your back garden letting off a 12 bore, non stop.
Peace and quiet of the countryside ? all old 'dangle berries'. ::) ;D

I've thought about it many times T but the trees and birds sit on a protected site and any action against them would have the Peelers here mob-handed. :y
