Great Start to Bank Holiday

As im working straight through for the next five days i've packed the Mrs off to her mothers for a few days, just got home and the sodding boiler is dead, cold showers for me >:(

I ran the hot tap yesterday for ages ........... stayed cold  :-? the boiler didn't fire. Tried it on central heating - the controller was doing its bit, but nothing happening at the boiler. As the whole thing was only put in last year I phoned the plumber who fitted it. No answer  :( So after a quick look see, I found the switched fuse downstairs was off! ;D ;D ;D
Have a look at the basics first!  :y :y :y

Yeah checked the basics Andy have an idea what may have gone and its not a fuse :'( have to price up bits tomorrow and see if its worth fixing. My thoughts are rip out and put in a new one but then she'll want a new kitchen to match >:(
