We are so going out tomorrow, if only to avoid the telly!

They weren't interested in my wedding, why should I be interested in theirs!

And who cares who designed her bloody dress! >:(

But thanks for the extra days holiday! :y
Blimey Ljay, we are in 100% agreement :o

:y

But look at all those idiots camping out just so they get a glimpse of them from a distance...  ...is this what the UK has become?

Become? Many more people lined the streets for previous royal weddings, I believe..
You're probably right, but the media didn't go radio rental over it like they are now

There wasn't as much media back then, I suppose..

Still, it beats football being on the telly.

FFS, its been non-stop all bloody week  >:(

Yes, its a happy occasion, if thats what floats your boat, but surely they can put something else on the bloody telly  >:(

Should have moved north of the border TB - apathy over the royal wedding reign's supreme here as only 13 street parties have been planned north of the border.
I shall, of course, be glued to the telly in anticipation of seeing the wedding dress  :P ::) (NOT)

Thought I'd escaped it tonight. Me and the rest of the local CAMRA branch decided to have a piss up committee meeting. :y

Some bu66er has only brewed a commemorative beer for it. >:(

I hope the temperature drops to 3 degrees again like it did last night for all the sad gits camping out. That'll learn 'em. ;D

I'm not a royalist by any stretch of the imagination, but I did work with someone who was at Uni in St Andrews with William on the same degree and said he was a completely normal, decent bloke with no airs or graces and was as down to earth as he could be - and Kate seems a bit of alright - I wish the couple well, and I'm frankly getting a bit peeved with all the negative press and mocking - "10 O'clock Live" was particularly offensive...and I'm a big fan of Charlie Brooker and David Mitchell but the Jimmy Carr "Princess Di" skit was totally tasteless in even my opinion.

As Nickbat says on the music thread we do pomp and circumstance better than anyone, I might see a bit of the ceremony tomorrow our royal family is one of the things that makes us "Great" Britain so good luck to them  :y

You never saw that coming I'll bet  ;)
