Agreed to take £30,000 to throw a match. Then came up with a feeble story to get himself off the hook, and save snooker from imploding under the resulting scandal. ::)

bit uncalled for mate, the guy IS one of the true greats of the sport. was not found guilty of cheating, the incident wasnt reported quickly enough apparantly and he was charged with bringing the game into disrepute and banned for 6 months.
not my favourite player, but you cant deny the guy is class.

He was caught on camera accepting a bung to lose a match. His excuse was beyond flimsy. To me, thats not class. ;)

The 2011 world snooker champion. John Higgins. Guilty but not even charged(afaik :-/)

His ability is not in doubt, as said previously. Morally though....

Thanks Chris, the only players that spring to mind are Ray Reardon, some thin Welsh guy and a very few others - so I guess I'm going back a few years  ;D ;D :y

Haven't watched a full frame of snooker since Jimmy White packed in.

I'll watch Osullivan, until he walks out half way through a match. But other than that, complete dis interest. Until Mr Trump came along. The game needs a bit of fiz bang frankly...

How long has Hern been back in charge btw? Or did he never leave?
