Even though she does not read the forum, for letting me borrow her Estate.
For some time had a weeks camping planned with some mates in Cornwall, could not believe our luck at the weather reports.
I drove back from London with a mate, to get all the gear from my parents, pick up another mate and drive down. Stopped for gas, thought as I pulled out it sounded a bit throaty, looked down and found this:

Back box pipe had come clean off - Whats more annoying is this was a propper old skool GM zorst, double walled, last of the good ones

Luckily I had a spare exhaust in the garage, destined for father T's 2.2, he would not mind

So I set to work....

Gets to 10pm at night, could i get the exhaust bolts out? could i !£^&%&%
So last minute decision i'd take mother T's Estate

So off to my mates, and we loaded up the bus:

I treated it to a wash as I was borrowing it....

Arrived at the Campsite:

and cracked open some local brew:

Now we had good reports for the weather for weeks, so i was concerned about getting a pitch, I even rang up the day before, asking do you have space? "we can fit you in was the reply"
This was our field

Burger Van field was empty too:

Went for a wonder around, rubbish weather!

Testing out my new camera, which was my Crimbo pressie from Sky

It was all going well...

Until....

Managed to change it, even though I forgot to check the kit, i brought zero tools

Usually with mine i load it up with breaker bars ect, but as it was last minute thing to take the estate I did not bring tools

Luckilly a nice bloke in a Merc lent me his breaker bar from his kit, which is much better than the shyte Vauxhall one, so got the wheel off:

Found a place near by for new tyre, thanks to father T for the quick googling

Got back to the camp site, cracked open more beers and got the camp fire going

All in all best camping trip ever done, perfect weather, no crowds, loads of great BBQ food and great views
