Ageism in wine bars

I just asked the waitress if I was too old for her and she said "a little" - the actual age difference is 30 years - am I a victim of ageism and can I complain to the Council - Boris Johnson or City of London? In the society of today I must have some rights to whinge about!!!

A 'little' suggests there's room for negotiation; D ;D :-*.

Although I do agree that it's frustrating when one's defined by age rather than content.

Younger ladies tend to enjoy the fact it's not all over as quickly & we also show them elements of foreplay...can i say that?....that they've never experienced with lads of their own age. :)

age gap of 30......thats getting a bit creepy if i'm honest - think of her dad being younger than you  :o

half your age plus seven is deemed acceptable unless you're a Rolling Stone  ;D

When I was 30 and single I got seduced by a woman of 56.... :-X :-X :-X Now that I am 53 does that mean it is OK to find a girlfriend of 27? ....... :D :D :D

Seriously though I have never been in a wine bar, and probably never will now.

Yes - I dislike the way local pubs have ceased to be what they used to be and are now generally full of idiots overdoing it - very noisy with inane chatter (as are some wine bars but I avoid those as well). Some landlords/managers also leave a lot to be desired - only basing it on where I work and live. I am sure many of you will have great locals - I do not. Nearest pub to my home is 2 miles way in any case.
