Right a reboot seems to have sorted the problem, back to 'normal' which is barely acceptable for COD online  ::)

Bad workmen always blame his tools, its not Sky's fault you suck at COD  :P :P  ;D

I am playing in a rugby league tournament tomorrow morning, you just booked any tall lanky soldiers I am playing against a trip to the hurt locker  ;D ;D

Oh and I'm prestige you C U Next Tuesday  ;D ;D :y

OoOoO prestige... can you beat 34-1 kill/death ratio?

I spent long enough getting to 65 to get the good stuff, can't be asked to throw all that away just another icon  ;D ;D

Yeah Sky bought Easynet, as well as The Cloud  :y

This is a massive bug bear for me as it seems everyone outside of the Military Town gets 5Mb+, some get the new Infinity.  Inside Military Town (including many civilians) get 1.5Mb if they are lucky!

No one is interested in making it better either  >:(

Same issue for me in Sandhurst on Sky - 1.5mb - I did get 3mb on O2 until I switched for cost and Anytime+ which is not working well at present. I may cancel the lot.

Whats up with your Anytime+  ?

The programmes on it suck, the scheduler seems to have a thing for Adam Sandler.  every couple of months it's Adam Sandler Season....... :-X

And when it's not AS season there is only normally 1 or 2 films worth watching out of the dozen :(

Where you on the trial? Its only just launched  :-?

Anytime+ you get another little box, either WiFi or Ethernet, plugs into your box (only HD ones)

I've not had chance to try it yet, as they my freebie unit went missing  ::)

Ah sorry I thought you meant Anytime.  I subscribe to Lovefilm so that when the wife is away I could at least (before the hackers broke the PS3 network) stream videos at my leisure.

Replying to Tunnie on Anytime+ it is just painfully slow and erratic. I am pursuing on another site but now cannot be bothered with the hassle. It seems others have exactly the same problem. Maybe my poor connection speed is a contributory factor.

Must admit, they really should have named it better. Its also going to be very confusing when Sky Anywhere launches.

Anytime+ basically plugs into the online storage of Sky Player, 600+ films on tap entire box sets ect, should have loads of content available. Game of Thrones for Pinky  ;)

Anytime (the original version) uses just 25% of the hard disk on your Sky Box, so with the standard+ and even HD ones, they have limited space to work with, hence this + upgrade.

Being Sky though, it only works when Sky Unlimited is your ISP  :(

You get WiFi or Ethernet box?

Edit, assuming your on Sky as your ISP, the standard routers they sent out are reliable in my experience, but very weak signal, they really struggle to send good strong signal throughout a house. This could be the problem!

I've no complaints about the Infinity service from BT - never varies much from this (rural location);

I felt the same when I lived in Slough - best I ever got was ~2Mb, and I couldn't get anything until they relaxed the distance limits.. spent years stuck with ISDN; even Cable wasn't an option as Slough was still analogue (though I hear they are now just starting to roll out digital there).

Moving to Bracknell, aside from the chavs & builders vans cluttering up the place, was a breath of fresh air  ;D

I was ISDN for years due to BB being useless, took service termination to move.

Now BB has been superceded....

Crap ping from Gloucester

This one is better
