astra clutch

Anyone here know of a resonable place to get a clutch done on an astra diesel is central scotland?
been quoted £650!!

Engine out on a petrol, not sure about diesel.

I removed & swapped a diseasal Astra G gear box. Mr Haynes' method is to drop the sub frame, a right PITA to do. Still not £650 though, the clutch kit was around £100 from a local motor factor.

Astra Mk 3, '91-'98. Gm engine clutch can be changed without gearbox total removal.
Izuzu engine, gearbox out and n/s front suspension off.
Mechanic next door did it for £260.  :y

This is a 7 hour job as Andy said its a subframe out job. :(
Thats what I paid to have my vectra B clutch done its more or less the same set up.
