Identify the electronic component?

Just to the right of the top switch, 2 above the LED there is a brown component.

Any idea what it is?

Got a PCB with one missing.

its a constrigulated bypass resistor,2 ohms iirc ;)

hard to tell from that pic, but guessing cap or coil, but you'd need the numbers off it to get replacement

Dont think they are that dear, just the programming part thats the problem.

If there`s loads missing; would sourcing an 'entire' used-one from the Bay of E not be the cheaper/easier option? :-/

I would guess a ceramic cap. It looks to be 1206 in size so could be largish in value.

Martin,i work in electronics its an inductor coil.Value unknown it may be as said written on it,but it would need to be measured.(note wound copper wire inside=coil :y

An inductor - OK don't have any of those - told them to buy a complete SH one for me to canibalise
