our van is about 7 years old and has a detector fitted from new (I think as van was a year old when purchased),not a bad idea to have one in such a confined space

I wouldn't like to think how old my caravan is! I fitted a new carpet today, got the eletrics working (well - apart from the fridge!!) then gave it a thorough clean, and fixed the storage box door. It's alright for £150 :y

Bloody pikeys, you should only be allowed on the roads between 2am and 5am.  Grrrr.

Can't you do camping properly, and get a tent?

Ah that's very interesting. Thanks Andy!

There's still hope yet. I condemned it after not hearing the compressor. I know now and will leave it overnight!

Thanks

Did your fridge get cold overnight?  :-/  ;)

I haven't tried it yet! :-/ my garden is separate from the house and sometimes it awkward having a power lead across. It's my land but I have to provide access for other people, even though they constantly static steer and ruin my Tarmac! Will try it soon as and report back, thanks Andy!
