I love caravanning, running hot and cold water, heating if it gets cold, no need to worry if it's going to blow away when the wind gets up, keeps you dry and cosy if i's raining, you're own bog, shower with plenty of room to dry yourself and get dressed.

It might add 1/2 hour to a 200 mile journey towing one, but hey, who cares.

The best part though, is holding up boy racers on 'B' class roads

It all sounds very dangerous to me AA. :-/ :-/

Hi peeps, i was told today that sites which are affiliated to the caravan club don't allow non caravan club members there. Is that right? If so how do i know if they are affiliated to the caravan club? How much is it to join the caravan club?

I'm insured to pull my caravan. Is it normal to take out 3rd party insurance on your caravan incase it burns down and damages someone elses van etc? Do some sights request to see this insurance and if you doon't have it do they refuse you access?

You'll know what sites are 'affiliated' by simply joining the Caravan Club.
Membership's currently 40 quid per annum.
Some CC sites accept non-members - though they obviously pay higher fees.
All their sites are of a very high standard - and chavs simply ain't tolerated - so that's great for us!


Now insurance for your van:
You really need to consider this seriously. Even though your van was bought for 150 quid, think of the consequences if it caught fire and subsequently wrecked an adjacent 14 grand van?
