It's impossible for me to choose, as music experienced during the course of my lifetime has had such a profound effect on it throughout.

Ok at this time I was drinking more beer than I could afford which my Mum baled me out of and dancing/partying as much as I possibly could. Perhaps this is why I think for me it was the best time for music as I was having so much fun.

Best time for music for me has just happened.

Piping hot bath, smelly suds (to contain natural gas - its a man thing, apparently, according to her....) classic FM on the radio.  Good book and good glass of whisky at the elbow.  Ample top up of hot water as and when required.

Continue until poached......
