Thanks Laidback
« on: 26 May 2007, 20:33:30 »

I little thank you to Dave for his help and support today during phase two of the Corsa conversion. Interesting is probably the way I would describe  the process as it went from relative simplicity into 'why did I start this' to 'there that wasn't tpo bad was it?'.

Although not totally finished, the aircon is now in and working. All that remains is to put the inside of the car back together again, incluidng the dash, instruments, dual controls and seats. Then a good clean after I do the handbrake overhaul tomorrow.

Would I do this again? No. Was it worth it? Yes. On a scale of 1 to 10, how hard was it? 9 How much did it all cost? £225 - including the electric mirror conversion done yesterday.

Anyway, the whole job was made MUCH easier with the kind help of Laidback, without whom this would have been a nightmare. Top bloke and damned helpful. But enough about me, Dave is alright too! :y

I didn't do much (can't right now!) other than give lots of encouragement and note the lack of chocolate biscuits...  ;D

I did get a free headlight washer jet though from the breakers (and no I did not just "slip it in my pocket!")  :y

Means project lpg elite now has a pair.  :)

Choc biscuites? Hah, there was you and me mate. that was it. Choc bickies would have made three and obviously FREEZE a crowd.

AND he did a lot more than just lend a helpful ear.

AND yes, he did get a washer jet FREE.

AND, erm.... that's it. :-?
