Makes you wonder how many (dead) people are still being claimed for in Britain.

Greece (now with the worst credit rating of any country in the world) had loads of dead people over the age of 100 where pensions were still being paid out and used.

They must have been so desperate for the finance.  However, there can be no excuse and no word can ever be appropriate to discribe their act. :( :(

Heard this today. Before you all sit in judgemnt over 6 months they only claimed a few quid so it was'nt a financial fiddle.

  3 generations, all single living under one roof?

  I think they need help not prosecuting.

They broke the law ergo they should be prosecuted, but I do agree they also need serious professional help - the body was left decomposing and it takes a 'special' kind of person to live in the same house as a rotting corpse, no matter how close you were to said corpse in life..

I seem to recall worse cases that deserve harsher punishment too (i.e. where bodies have been frozen to prevent discovery..)

I am at a loss for words :( i loved my nan and kissed her goodbye when she went.What sad people,they do need help.I sometimes feel ashamed belonging to the human race :(
