Nissan X Trail ?
« on: 28 June 2011, 20:36:21 »

Anyone know anything bad  (or good) about them ? I am hankering over a change of car as my miggy which i love to bits is starting to look a little shabbby and i need to keep up an image using such for my business.
I like the look and have driven one on holiday a few years ago and am told nissan is reliable,so what do'yall think ?

A lot have injector pump problems,
others have electronic clutch problems mainly when towing or should i say trying to reverse a caravan or heavy trailer,
engines can get vry rattly and smoky on supermarket fuels,
fuel consumption is quite high according to my mate who owns one!! :o

My brother in law had one. It started using lots of oil. Turned out there is a common problem where a pre cat (i think) breaks up and damages the engine internals. His was a petrol model. He got his money back off the dealer. Shame, as he really loved it!
