Brilliant Valencia F1
« on: 26 June 2011, 16:27:32 »

How exciting was that? carnage at the first corner, then the Lotus swept through the entire field to claim victory on the last lap, despite the heavy shower halfway through - brilliant  :y

Anyone else play F1 2010 on the PS3?  ;D

grrr, what a waste of 2 hours.  >:( >:(

Maybe Bernie has a point with sprinklers. I live for damp F1 races. And yes the cars should be able to cope.

I agree, but Bernie likes the facility....so I'm guessing its here to stay -probably become the new Spanish GP venue as he hinted on the embarrassingly inept grid walk before the race - Jake - stick to the day job  :(

Martin Brundle's grid walks make a great prelude to the race, Jake, and I Like the Sound Of My Own Voice JORDAN are as boring as that race. Bahrain is another circuit that we thankfully didn't get this year, drop them both BORING, roll on Silverstone.

Got to say, I ignored this thread until I'd watched the race (I was at a wedding over the weekend) and wish I hadn't bothered ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D

Fortunately only caught the highlights on BBC 3 (which could and should have been reduced to approx 4 mins under the Sale of Goods Act  ;))

Bit surprised at the anti-Jake comments tho - obviously I didn't see the grid-walk referred to (although that might have constituted a 'highlight' of more interest than 95% of the race), but I think he's a brilliant broadcaster - no umm's and ahh's, no stating the bleedin' obvious, calm under pressure. His hour-long 'fill' during the rain at the Canadian GP was a masterpiece.....not many broadcasters could do that as well as he did.... :)
