Aw mate.  :'(

Pain from the injection itself?
Feel like I've done a few rounds with Tyson!

Was expecting it though ;) Been told it'll probably get worse yet before it gets better too :'(

Not all bad... I have a "Pars Defect". It may well not be causing any problems so we'll just wait in see :y

Not in as much pain as I was expecting this morning, which is good, and not planning to go much further than the bathroom, kitchen and the sofa today. Going to do as little as possible  for a few days to try and get on my feet as quickly as possible :y :y

Hope it's all gone well Paul and now on the mend. :y Back pain is a bitch as I well know having been plagued with it for more years than I care to remember.
You're not alone though, I'm just out of hospital following a third prostate biopsy and having a few days recovery at home. Can't even have a tea or coffee let alone a beer due to the bloody mega strong antibiotics they've stuck me on. :'( Still, will be ok for the Lakes. :y

Bloody hell. How did they miss that from a scan? Effectively a broken vertebrae by the looks?

Unfortunately, because of the location of the Pars it is easy to miss unless using high powered, specific direction Xrays :( The Chiropractor had already diagnosed the slip of the spine, we just know how/why now ::) ::)

Hopefully it won't be a problem though... It's quite possible that it's been like it for a few years ;) ;)

(At least, that's what I keep telling myself!) ::) ::) ;D ;D

I often wonder about the logic of taking scans lieing down for a spine issue. The machine dictates obviously, but the spine is not under the same srtrain as standing up....? Seems to me.  :-/
