havent seen it (unlikely too as I don't recall Mr Bay ever making a decent film) but came across this interesting little comparison from an earlier film by the same director

I enjoyed Transformers and Megan Fox was easy on the eye too.

But she's been replaced in number 3  :'(

Makes sense to re-use stock footage for scenes like that I suppose - all of the 'action' is CGI anyway, overlaid onto stock car crashes.. save the studio some money.
