European Driving !
« on: 13 July 2011, 14:33:13 »

Do I need a Fire Extinguisher in the car if travelling in Europe...France and Belgium especially. A few "searches" online suggests I do..hell the cars gonna be full as it is without the need to house a bloody extinguisher...

I like the bit that says you don't have to carry a warning triangle but it is compulsory to display one if you break down.

Thank you Mantahatch....very interesting read.

Recommended but not compulsory for my trip.

As mentioned, with a wife and teenage daughter on the trip there ain't no space for anything else...EVEN in an Omega.

Doesn't mean they won't be awkward should you get stopped though ;) ;)

I find it hard to believe that you couldn't get one in... We've always managed to find room for it, considering it's smaller than a bottle of pop ::) ::)
