It does, it will cost no more to tax than a 2.0 Mondeo

Petrol certainly isn't going to get any cheaper, so if you're going to own a big V8, now is definitely the time to do it..

Before petrol is £3 a litre and we're all driving invalid carriages to work.

You could consider the Tata Nano before resorting to an invalid carriage.

Is it just me or do the wheels and tyres look too small for the arches?. Surely an icon like the Lotus Carlton should fill them out a little more.  :-/ :-/

I see your point but this was a 90's car based on an 80's design & that's how things were then & it would be sacrilege to put low profile arch fillers on a car like this.

  I'm not a fan of huge wheels with tiny profile rubber. I think they look silly & lacking in taste...vulgar even, that said i am an ageing luddite & wheels can be changed in minutes. Main thing is the car is serviced & valeted regularly.
