I remember Izal from school, but, as for its original use I don't know - but, if you wanted something that was totally non-absorbent, had teflon like properties and was good at spreading sticky stuff around I suppose it would be ideal! :-/ The nearest equivalent I can think of is grease proof paper.  ;D

Just stay in a B&B or hotel, why rough it? (if you excuse the pun)  ;D ;D ;D
No no no, that completely defeats the object. In a caravan you are

A:- on site, hence home from home.
B:- eat what you like when you like.
C:- you don't have to put it up when you get there or take it down when leaving.
D:- most stuff like tinned food, cup a soups, crockery/cutlery kettle, toaster can stay there, saves packing & unpacking.
E:- toilet/shower/washing facilties are en suite.
F:-stove/oven/fridge are once again fitted as are gas bottles. No need to pack/unpack/store in between meets.
G:- built in music/telly/CD storage etc.

We'll never resolve this old chestnut but i've actually tried both (unlike most van haters) & one mans meat...etc. so fair go. :y

I dont ever see myself selling my boat for a caravan tbh

oh and with a boat, no worries about what toilet roll to use or empty a casset thingy, it goes straight out the bottom of the boat! lol  ;D
