Where,s it all going to end ? I would guess that they are all in the same snake pit as each other and know where the bodies are buried etc.
They are panicking one after the other and jumping before they are pushed - or end up in the dock. One big web of corruption between the media (not just murdochs mob) the politicians and the met/ acpo etc.
I dont suppose we will ever know the half of whats gone on, but I smell a rat with the resignation and subsequent arrest of Rebbeca Brooks. I think a deal has been done behind closed doors and Stephensons resignation could be a part of it. Time will (possibly) tell.
The stench of hypocrisy from all the parties involved is rather nauseating, and the really innocent people (Dowlers etc.) have been shoved into the background and almost forgotten about.

I am left with the conclusion that the entire political class, police and all, are rotten to the core.

They deserve each other, but I’m damned if I know what we have done to deserve any of them.

I have no doubt that there has been a conspiracy from those on the left (grauniad/beeb/liebore etc.) to bring things to the point they are at now. Things like this dont just happen od their own accord.
I believe that Murdoch and his crew deserve what they are getting though. The only wish that I would have is that when the dust has settled, the right then do the same thing to the Grauniad/beeb etc, because Im certain they are just as corrupt, and a balanced and just long term outcome would be good for the country.
Just have a look at who Millipede is employing as his spin doctor at the moment. ;)

couldn't agree more, and as for arresting Rebecca Brooks now! do they think we're stupid and can't see what they're doing they'll claim they can't answer questions due to the ongoing case, once again the whole system is corrupt to the core >:(

He's quit, just like that red haired cow for one reason and one reason only - because they are both as gulity as hell and now will try to evade any consequences and play the sympathy cards.
I reckon that Murdoch is probably innocent of any direct involvement but guilty of not keeping a very close eye on those he delegated to run his businesses for him. We have lost a great newspaper as a result and now the 'establishment' want to hide their own shortcomings by ripping his businesses apart as a smoke and mirrors excercise.
Do these pillocks not understand that we, the general public, are probably more wiser and intelligent tna they are. Way I see it is that all a higher education regime does is to teacg how to be as corrupt as possible without being caught!
Love it though that it all started with the Blair regime but even now the latest leader is trying to evade the truth. Never, ever trust anyone with close set eyes (eyes that are close together) cos as my granny said - none of them can be trusted and show a deceptive, untrustworthy lying streak.
Compare their pictures.... See what I mean?

I think it just goes to show the Great Britain has become as corrupt as any other 3rd world dictatorship.

Those at the top are on the take from where ever they can get money from.

Yep, then it'll be "meet the new establishment - same as the .. err.  New Establishment", no doubt. ::)

Until someone restores the line between "public servant" and "self-serving" there will be no change.
