ebay and selling charges
« on: 19 July 2011, 12:50:07 »

with the prices on ebay now being 28.00 for a normal ad and 14.99 for a classified ad getting a little on the expensive side for those that buy and sell regular ive found a new one to go along with gumtree and pistonheads its called bid46.com and listing selling etc is all free the site looks very similar to ebay and in the few months since it started now has over10,000 users.
it however is restricted to the uk only though
funny thing is the gut who started this site has adverts for it on ebay under everything else :)

have a look see what you guys think :)

So where is the business plan? Hosting such services costs serious money.  Do people think doing anything on the Internet has no costs involved  :-/

I suspect in this case, its like those stupid ones advertised amongst the Personal Injury Lawyers on daytime TV where each bid costs money.  Therefore such a limited market.
