A small computing question....

Hi mike.flood

We are sorry you are having issues with the bulk uploader. We noticed you are currently using IE6. We recommend that you use one of the most recent web browsers. This will allow you to utilize all of our site's current features and functions.  It is best to use more than one browser to ensure the issue does not lie with the particular browser or a setting in that browser that you are currently using.
Note - We do not support beta browsers.

How can I tell which level of explorer I have and which is the best to upload or change to without upsetting everything else?..... :)

IE6 is long in the tooth, and no longer supported properly.  Slap on IE8 or 9, or use an alternate browser

If you go for Firefox, ensure its updated very regularly, often fortnightly. More bugs than a Libyan coffee shop.

I now use Google Chrome as my default browser, but I have had reliability problems when downloading large files with it, where as I had no problems with IE. Google Chrome would always drop out as if it had completed the download, but the file was incomplete.  >:( >:(

I don't know if Google Chrome will have the same problems when uploading large files as I haven't tried it.

Anybody else had any experience of this?
