  Don't know if anyone can or will help but while cleaning my Win7 32Bit install disk to reinstall my pc due to many errors I managed to put a crack in it and now it won't work. I am hoping someone kind will take pity on me and send me a copy of theirs (I have my own registration code) so I can get the re-install done.
PC world tells me that the disk itself is not install code dependant and any win7 32bit disk will do as long as I use my own registration key. Trouble is they want over 60 quids to do it for me!
I will pay any reasonable costs though. Pleeeeeeeze

There are several variants of Win 7 (listed below), which version is it you require and is it retail or OEM?

Home Basic
Home Premium
Professional
Enterprise
Ultime

You have to use a same disk from the same 'channel' as your key:

Retail (ie, boxed version)
OEM (came preinstalled on your PC, COA will state OEM)
Volume (not relevant for home PCs)

The version, as alluded to by Martian, is not relevant, as the disks are all the same in each channel, and the installer uses the key to determine version.

With OEM, you need to get one that matches your PC manufacturer.


The correct way is to call MS (if retail, as MS support it) or your PC manufacturer (if OEM, as they support it).  There is normally a token fee to cover handling for the postage/download.

Looking on the DVDs here, both Retail and OEM, they all say no copying or distrubition without written authority. Sorry.
