Its cheaper than £600, cheapest package route would be:

Variety Pack & Sports @ £29.75
HD @ £10.25.

So £40/m ~ £480 /yr

I can apply a 50% discount to that, but it would only last a year. But after that expires, its a good point to argue another discount, as you threaten to leave.

Still cheaper to go to the French and German FTA channels with extra LNBs though

More to the point, it's cheaper to tax a Monaro. It's only a telly FFS! ;D

I certainly wont pay to watch it. In fact Im seriously considering binning Sky altogether. If the viewing figures turn out to be poor, I think that in the medium term, Bernie is going to have problems from the sponsors paying milions to have their names painted on the sides of these mobile billboards.
The Beeb have acted disgracefully over this imo. They state that they dont have the money any more to pay for it. Thats 'dangle berries', thay have made a choice, and decided that the licence payers money is better spent an a fortnights coverage of eastern european women shrieking and grunting while hitting a ball back and forth across a net on a piece of grass.terribly sorry old boy, I am a little tired, ZZZzzz. ::)
Perhaps fast cars burning fossil fuels, driven by wealthy men doesnt fit in with the ethos of the sandal wearing, lentil munchers from Notting Hil who run the Beeb and they have taken the first opportunity to bin it. ;)
