MOT Pass
« on: 02 August 2011, 23:58:27 »

Not the usual kind, though. G-EELT passed her annual airworthiness review this evening with a couple of advisories.

Harness straps are probably due a refurb before next year. The sealing tape on the ailerons had shrunk and was starting to restrict the full movement of the control surfaces. Wheel brake sticking a little and, the usual one. Needs to be taken out and flown more rather than getting damp in the trailer. :-[

Well, seriously, if there is interest, I could arrange for an OOF group gliding session sometime.

You haven't seen the huge V8 that launches me. ;) But, I suppose, it only runs for a minute.

Not far from it. Just a little prettier. Use about half a roll of PVC electrical tape sealing all the gaps every time I rig it.

Agreed been up in a microlite a few times and loved it. A trip in a glider would be soooo cool :y

Hanging from a kite in a sleeping bag doesn't have the same appeal as a trip in a glider  ;D ;D ;D
