i hate being in my 20s i wish i was in my late 50s. things will only get worse.

are you mad? lol i'm 29 and wish i was 18 again. only this time round knowing what i know now i'd have at least quadruple the number of notches on my bed post

About 6 weeks ago, i was called an arrogant white *insert slang term for female genatalia beginning with c* 2 weeks ago, i was told said taxi driver would not be charged as his mate said he wasnt sure what he had said.
When i asked the copper who took the statement and did the subsequent investigation and paperwork, he said that he got so annoyed at the fact that had i said it to the taxi driver (who was asian by the way) i would have been arrested and charged with racial abuse and more than likely, punished either by tagging or community service or the like.
The dogooders in this country, the pc brigade, human rights etc have turned this once proud country into a bin of waste that bows to whomever scares it the most.
I wont go on because it is a subject that really does get to me sometimes

Silly is'nt it? If i got everyone locked up for calling me a fat so & so i'd have no mates left!. If a footballer or manager calls another player/ref/manager a naughty name he's fined thousands of pounds, banned for x amount of matches & must say sorry. SORRY??? Are these primary school children using a naughty word? The police/FA/courts & all should spend a day my works yard.

   We'd have to shut down due to lack of anyone to drive the trucks or answer the phones & plan the runs.....

I think there is a slight difference between saying something like you are fat or you are a idiot to using ones race. If we called a non white person a silly black (insert whatever word you want) there are proven cases, time and time again where the person saying it has ended up with a criminal record and often punished. Yet, when it is on the other foot, it is to be allowed and suggested to be just a misunderstanding as they are not of this country and dont understand.
I have been in the forces, i am (or was) a qualified ambulance tech, i have driven buses and coaches for the last nearly 9 years of my life and have seen the slow progression of the average british person being pushed to one side in favour of people that have simply moved over here (in the majority of cases, not the minority) for the money and easy life. If i could afford to leave the country, believe me i would.
The general degradation in quality of life in the last 20 or so years has become the drain that has lost Great Britain her identity and the once much reverred stance. Now, we are just a dumping ground for every other nation that can get to us and because our politicians are so bloody gutless, they wont stand up and say enough is enough. We cannot afford to keep any more people here, close the gates, lock em and get control of our way of life once again.

You should've listened in to Radio 4 today, and listened to the total load of crap given out by a (foreign) do-gooder, on why anyone should be allowed to come here whether or not they can speak a word of english !!!!!!

Totally agree with you. But look at it this way, when i was younger, i laughed at Mike Reid joking about irishmen, scottishmen etc and chuckled many a time. That was when the Welsh, Irish, Scots and English would laugh at jokes made about us all. It has changed now though, people that have come to this country do not like to have the urine extracted out of them hence we end up in the scenario's we see almost every day in the media.

Generally agree with you there mate. I think it was Rowan Atkinson (tho he probably nabbed it off someone else?) who said something along the lines of its more important to have the right to offend than to have the right to be offended. Personally, whilst not one to normally offend  ,I think that certain things about a person that that person cannot choose such as gender or colour or physical/mental "disability" or place of birth are far greyer areas to attack whether it be in the form of jokes or whatever, whilst things that are not inate to them like religious or political beliefs are-and should be-up to challenge and debate.
 Dont know how much truth is in this news story but it is both very sad and damaging if true. Ironic that these morons spout on about protecting different cultures when their very actions are slowly killing our own. Having different cultures within a larger society is fine but they must surely obey the rules/laws of the governing society (when in Rome as has been said).Surely its better to take the more American stance and have "black English" or "moslem English" for example whereby both an individual's culture/heritage and overall nationality are recognized?

I hate this type of thing, I have no issue with people of any race or creed living in the UK but when they try to force their beliefs and laws onto us then they should go back home to where they came from.
The law in the UK is what is set, not one rule for them and another rule for us.

I feel quite strongly about this .
I get back home to Scotland and my wife's home city ,London , once or twice a year.
Quite frankly the country I grew up in and lived in until I was in my late 40's has gone and it upsets me greatly.
 It's not just the colour and culture that has changed , but the whole social infrastructure has been diluted and then stolen by a variety of nationalities who have little or no allegiance to GB either by choice , culture or religion.
They insist upon, nay demand ,  and are given freely the benefits that all of my generation and before worked hard for and contributed to . but don't be fooled into thinking they want part of it ,    they want it all.
Now I realise that I'm skating on thin ice here but I think and believe what I want and no one will tell me otherwise.
When I joined a pension scheme I wasn't automatically given the same payout as the oldest member of that scheme I had to contribute before I benefited .
The legal system in GB is for all . It doesn't need to be customised to suit " non indiginous GB beliefs " and I strongly believe that.
I came to live in Ireland , I accepted the Irish way of life ,the people , legal system , culture and the way the country is and has been .
I willingly accepted the mantra ( excuse the pun ) of " Fit in or **** off "
