police cars on fire, petrol bombs,2 police have been set on fire apparently, riots and cars being burnt and shops being loooted, all because a black man shot at a copper and got shot dead.

they should shoot all the tinkers that are rioting   so a black man is shot by plod  and despite the fact the w@nker shot at police this justifies a riot what a disgrace  time to emigrate me thinks >:(

Saw the aftermath on the news this morning - looks like it has improved Tottenham quite considerably. :D ;D ;D
We will now have all the bleeding hearts wittering on about social depravation blah,blah,..........
As I understand it - local gangster stopped in his car by police. He shoots police officer, but the bulllet hits his radio which saves his life.Police then shoot him and he dies.
One less piece of pondlife in the world.Cant see the downside tbh.

No doubt that the 'involvement' of the younger ones will be put down to them being bored and have had a poor or broken family upbringing.
Time for the birch to brought back and the soft option stopped.
Police on the whole do a very good job and from what I saw and heard of the incident which is supposedly the cause of the riot the Police action was justified. If I carried a gun and someone pointed one at me I would do my damndest to get the first one in. The poor coppers have to give endless warnigs and then wait for a superior to give the command before they can shoot. Frikkin idiotic policy if ever there was one! There again...look at the potilticians who decide the policies....all from another planet and able to crawl into the woodwork when things go wrong. ;) Come back Dirty Harry... show them how its done ;D ;D ;D
