just home from his live show tonight in dumfries. funniest guy ever! and thats from a HUGE billy connolly fan.
for two and a half hours i never stopped laughing, the guy is a genius. if you have the chance to go see him , GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! brilliant!!!!!

Imo though, Billy Connoly stopped being funny about 20 years ago. He seems all pretentious and has an L.A. outlook these days.
His live shows on DVD have leave the impression of just another day at the office.No longer original and not even slightly funny.

 8-)Agree fully with your view on Billy Connolly , watched Lee Evans 2 nights ago on tele, thought he was brilliant & if anyone wants a good read the Peter Kay biography (the sound of laughter ) is brilliant had me laughing out loud!!
