I don't actually know you, but all the best as well, lets hope it all works out eventually.

These things can be so destructive, my wife had an incident years back that she can't remember when she was on a night out, she hadn't even drunk much.  Woke up the next morning in a police cell and ended up going to court for assaulting a police office (apparently kicked one of the female police when she was put in the cell).  It destroyed her life (having spent the previous 5 years training in child care and education) and took years for her to get over it.

Keep your head high Richie and don't wory about what anyone else might think. Its what you think yourself (and all of us on here) that counts.
None of us can honestly say that we have never had problems - its just that some of us admit it but others would have everyone think that they are angels
From what I am told by some who have had regular stays inside even if the worst comes to the worst it seems that nick is a holiday anyway. Look on the bright side , they need all the spaces for the rioters and looters anyway so you will prbably just walk away with a little slap and a lecture from a judge that does not live on this planet anyway

thanks very much everyone. its not been easy for me the last few months as you know, what with mothers stroke, wrong surgery then being practically condemned to death by my own surgeon. things did get on top of me after i got diagnosed as having a stroke and everything and a total memory loss of everything ive done for quite a while. i lost control of everything, cant remember the night in question but i was arrested in the street by about 6 car loads of police and charged with threats to kill and in possesion of an offensive weapon. i am not a violent person, never have been, sometimes angry but not the person that the prosecution have portrayed me to be. i wasnt happy with the result this morning as it was all 1 sided but have to accept that until i go to crown court on 12th sept for trial. my solicitor has told me i wont get prison whatever happens and just get back to normal till then. cant say anymore than that except thanks again to you all for the support that you have showed to me. really appreciated.
