Film Remakes
« on: 13 August 2011, 12:33:46 »

The Thing is being released in October. In my opinion one of the Best Films of all Time, I hope they make a good job.

The Three Musketeers is also getting released in October.

Must be running out of ideas in the Film industry ::)

They haven't run out, they have just given up

I am not a fan of recent Hollywood stuff, prefer GB Japanese, European and SA films

Been some great films recently, what I do hate is the constant reboots of a franchise.

Hulk has had endless ones, Spider Man is next, new Superman film is getting reboot too. Thought last guy did good job  :-/

The first time I saw The Thing I nearly kacked my pants.

Mind you, every time I watch jaws, I always kack 'em when the head appears in the boat, after he finds the tooth - it matters not that I know its coming ;D

at the beginning the woman who goes swimming, they had two teams of men like a tug of war to thrash her about and they pulled that hard they broke her ribs and you can hear her say it hurts,it was so dramatic they left it in and used it

The Fog always spooked me.

The Italian Job was the worst remake I have ever seen!

Seeing as the original was one of the best films ever made, the remake didn't stand a chance ;)

Although it was far worse than even I expected ;D.

That said, I have watched it a few times, as I was convinced you caught a glimpse of a nipple at the beginning, but, alas, frame-by-frame shows this not to be the case. Apparently ::)

But worth watching the beginning to see Charlize Theron in her bra :y

I have just watched First Blood, which I have not seen for years. 1982 that came out I am shocked.
Hope they never try to remake that. . .
