Great! The poll site has told me that it is not accepting any more signatures....Does that mean that finally the great honest law abiding taxpaying general public have had their point noted?

I must be going daft in my old age if I thought that it would make any difference to the 'rights' of the convicted brainless assholes the courts and do- gooders love to give free expensive holidays to (and spending money).

The fact that the site wont take any more signatures shows that it is purely a gimmick.What would happen if the majority of the people in the country put their names to one of these petitions ?
We might start getting the idea that this is a democracy.
As for stopping their benefits - its never going to happen. The yumin rites act would stop that in its tracks before it got very far.
About time we had a human responsibilities act imo.

Ive just added my mark to it, process went through OK.  I am under no illusion that this process is little more than a gimmick to try and make the population feel like they have a say, but its worth a shot for the minute or so it takes.

Its currently sitting at 120,788 signatures.

take away there benefits and then what,bigger looting ...more mugging....more burglary.i dont think theres a solution personally because public thrashing is abolished,thief tattoos on foreheads which is no good cos from what i gather these days it would just blend in with their skin tone and i do think the death penalty should be reintroduced

As some one said in one of the first riot posts put them in labour camps...for years not months & make them build prisons as in Aus & the US.

  This would keep them out of our way while they earn their keep & pay for thier wrongdoings.

  No telly, internet, phones just basic food, clothing & medical care.

  Work them that hard all day all they'll want to do is wash, eat & sleep.

  7 days a week & no allowances for religion. You can pray/read but in your own time. No good crying about it, you wanted to play hardball so here it is.

  Shut up & get on with it.

  Before any bleeding hearts kick off, look at your/our towns & picture what would happen to these miscreants in other countries.

  Think i'm being firm but fair.
