Long Day Ahead of me and neighbour is not helping.
« on: 18 August 2011, 10:13:53 »

My druggy neighbour has parked her car as per in such a way that normally means I get blocked in. Does not help when you are disabled. And she is moaning cos my car is parked facing the opposite way to normal which is normal when fixing my cars. As I keep saying to her, she moans when people work on my car when the bonnet is outside her window, and she moans when I turn it round so that people are working outside my door. I hate her, She happily parks on the land across the road that I rent and allow her and 2 other neighbours to park on as there is no other parking round here. So it is tough s*** today. As my rocker gasket is being done on my Omega and it is getting an oil and oil filter change, I am fitting the new bootlid today and upgrading the headlights. And she hates it even more that I have moved my Escort over on my land across the road so that my severely disabled mate can park near to my house as he is helping me with my car.

Sorry about this post, I kinda got out of the wrong side of the bed lol. Would love to go back to bed now  ;D ;D ;D But my Omega is shouting FIX ME!  :D ;D ;D

I think it is going to be one of those days  ::)

I'm so glad that our closest neighbour lives some 400 yards away. People are not designed to live on top of each other.

600 yds for us and they are still too close even though we never hear them!

You are spot on Opti. I have a theory that is why housing estates are generally worse in the middle than the outside. At least those on the outside have some greenery they can see. If we were designed to live on top of each other then there would be towers of houses on top of each other as well as next to each other.

Very true Varche and Cem. The only time our neighbours bother us is when they pop round with a dozen free range duck eggs. :y :y :y

I empathise Cem.  :-/ :-/. In a different life we lived next door to an emotionally disturbed woman. We could not reason with this creature, as she was paranoid and delusional. The police were called many, many times......for many different reasons. Not a happy time for the Opti family... :-/ :-/ :-/.

I'll agree on that point Richie. A nicely tended ginger minge can be quite inviting. :y :y

Reading all those posts cheered me up a lot  ;D

My day ended on a fairly good note.

My car now purrs like a kitten and is a different car under the bonnet. Just changing the rocker gasket stopped a minor missfire it had when it was cold on tick over and the revs are soo free now not stammering, and NO OIL leaks at all!!! YAY, then we fitted the new bootlid with the prodrive spoiler I fitted and to me the car looks a million times better, and then finally upgraded all the bulbs in the headlights so my lights are all white now and not YELLOW, apart from the fog lights but I am ordering that upgrade tonight from Hongkong, and my friend got my cigarette lighter socket in the rear working, don't know how but it works now, and he also found my rear passenger side interior roof light has a broken wire on the wire that lights it up when the door is opened but will sort that another day and have also upgraded those bulbs to led's. All in all I am very happy with the car, just need to treat it to a really good polish tomorrow and get some decent photo's of it. I don't know where I would be without my mate. He never charges me for the labour although I do always buy him beer and cook him bacon sarnies when he is helping me. And I also wouldn't have got my car this good mechanically without the help of this club and its staff and members.

As soon as my gearbox is fully serviced and my cambelt has been done which may take about 10 months I will become a paid member of this club. :y :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
