Happy Days
« on: 19 August 2011, 19:41:35 »

Saw my surgeon this week, got the following news:

After X months of chemo/radio, the "lump" on my liver has shrunk to the size "expected" as showed by the CT scan.
The root cause of the "lump" (which started in the bowel) can now no longer be "seen" on the MRI scan.

In short the doc isn't saying it's gone, but the fact it can't be seen on a scan any more (when it was clearly visible before) sure as s**t works for me.

Got a day in on tuesday for a "non invasive" (Del Boy & the russian camcorder) look to have a double check, but if all goes well (will make a change for me) then it means I don't end up with a means of giving people a definitive answer as to whether I'm full of s**t (a bag) when they query it.

Happy days

Pleased to hear it. In less than a year my bosses Mum died, closely followed by two mate's mums, another mate's sister. After dishing out sympathy & support my lovely dear Mum decides to join the club a few weeks ago. I still have tearful moments so we can do without any more bad news from you!!!!

Good news, hope all stays well, Guy. :y

Great news and glad to hear it! :) Good luck with the camcorder - I presume it's getting inserted where the sun don't shine!

Great news ... as one who has put up with the annual insertion of a camera tube in a place where camera tubes should not go for over 16 years ... I know the relief of the "nothing to see" statement at the end ...   :)

Great news. Even if it hasn't completely gone the treatment is beating it, which is more than half the battle. :y
