i remember the night he died well. i was 7 years old and playing in the living room with my batman car when all of a sudden my mum burst into tears as the news came through the tv. proper crying she was :o

i still like a lot of his music..fave song, always on my mind followed closely by burning love :y :y :y

He was without doubt the greatest singer (and the biggest artist) in the history of popular music. No- one else has ever even came close. He had it all, apart from the guts to sack his manager unfortunately.
