In Ukraine, you are considered a coward if you wear a seat belt, hence 7-8000 deaths per year for about 10% of the vehicles on UK roads.

When I drive over there I'm always a seat belt wearing coward, but an alive one.

Some of the stupidity you witness over there is frightening. Like when I had accelerated from traffic lights in Kiev, a car full of drunken youths, pulled out straight in front of me, so I had to brake hard, the car behind me swerved past me and overtook into the path of oncoming traffic, they swerved, he swerved back on to my side of the road, so they just missed each other. 

Hence this and other high male death rates means the male to female ratio is parity at 19yo (34 in UK) and there are 100 women to only 85 men.  There are therefore lots of beautiful woman in the Ukraine looking for a husband.
