mobile keyboards..
« on: 28 August 2011, 15:55:16 »

useless crap when you try to post some writings (which is generally OOF).. I have a touch screen keyboard which becomes wider in horizontal position but I struggle to write even 2-3 sentences from those small areas of screen..so I give up most of the time..
(must admit my fingers are thick and flat and even dont fit lappy keyboards ;D ;D :-[)

I was waiting at the train station for  my number (to buy a ticket) and checked OOF as usual from it and sending a post was hard as usual.. I need a real big screen imo :-/

I can usually tell when someone is posting from a phone, as people who normally spell quite well post with lots of mistakes from a phone.
I cant think why I would want to use my phone for internet use.
Phones for talking to people.Computer for internet as far as Im concerned. :)

Correct tool for the job. :y

Posting to OOF using my mobile would be like me going into the garage and using my plumbing wrench as a hammer.

Actually, that's a bad example. ::)

Take no notice cem, it's bs for "I don't understand it in the slightest, so there for it must be useless"  ;)

Me Dad was the same. Then decided he needed a mobile so the family could  get hold of him. What's best ? He said.

My one I said. "I DON'T WANT ALL THAT TEXTING 'dangle berries' " he raged " I DON'T NEED THE INTERNET "..."I DONT NEED SAT NAV ON ME PHONE"

He text me about a year later me to say he has downloaded tom-tom onto his phone via wifi (which he also said he didn't need"I'VE SEEN EM, IN THE PUB AND IN MCDONALDS WITH THIER BLOODY LAP-TOPS, WHAT'S UP WITH THEM" ) and wanted to know how to set the home destination.  ;D

I regularly remind him of his anti tech dimissive rants.  ;D usually when he gets his mobile out at the dinner table, to check his watched items on eBay.  ;D

Can't beat a phone when your on the train, waiting in line, on the bog or in a "meeting"

Actually OOF surfing was better on my old SPV 3100 phone, decent size proper qwerty keyboard!

Thankfully the first two are things I spend vanishingly small amounts of time doing, and during the latter two the last things that are on my mind are OOF or Ebay.
