any idea where i could get a spare door key cut ,its a security type lock with a barel key,timpsons and the like say no ?

has to be the supplier of your van i think  :-/

There should be a number/name on the key?

Security locks like that, same as for my flat common entrance door, have to be bought from a specifc place. As normal places will not cut then, for me I had to get it from the management company which owns the building. So at a guess either the place you bought your van or where it was made  :y

put a pic up and i might be able to help, ive had to renew all types of locks in the past and sometimes they can be bought at places you might not go to

easier to buy a new lock set and very easy to fit and with it you should get 3 keys,thats if you want the security type or go back to normal which is cheaper and keys are available to buy from any reputable dealer off the shelf :y
