In my defence, I do feel the time I am able to set aside for OOF is probably better used in other sections

well i'm not one for giving advice, i dont take things in as easy as others and i would hate to give the wrong advice and create a problem for anyone. i am more of a listener than a marge proops. i find coming on here is an escape from the days stress as well as as learning about every subject going on every type of topic. from health to legal to sexual to senile  problems or advice. To be honest, its like wikepedia on here in my opinion.if anyone near me needed help i would certainly oblige them rather than see them struggle. ive only met pete elite who lives local and found him a great bloke to get on with and helpful and from what i see the majority of people on here are the same.

The other thing worth saying on the matter is that an organisation as large as OOF is always going to have members in close circles and others more loosely associated. There are always going to be aspects of it that seem impenetrable at first. This is true of online forums as much as it is workplaces, clubs and societies and other places where people meet face to face let alone with the typed word as the main form of communication.

I tend to judge such places by the welcome I receive as a newcomer. If you get a friendly welcome, you can bet that you'll become a part of it, given time, and enjoy your time there.
