Given a choice between branded burger fast food places, KFC for me. Wicked Meal to be precise.

I have to avoid the bargain buckets, as something in the Colonel's secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices gives be the 10 bob bits within about 30mins

Donalds, though, is convenient for driving...  ...half a dozen of their 99p burgers can be scoffed easily at the wheel in the passenger seat, and is filling. Apparently.

Goes right rather through me, as do hot wings!! Real pain the next day :o

We live an country that is proven to be well on the way to becoming rapidly morbidly obese. They do go on about the miracle 'cure' of the stomach band or stapling but in reality the most effective method (area) to be stapled should be the lips with enough space left for a thick straw.
Fact is that a very tiny, tiny number do actually have a real glandular problem. The remainder must surely then be afflicted with nothing more than simple greed.
Fast food, comfort food are but feeble and lame excuses when the blame lies directly on the individual who is overweight by more than a little. It is easy to adopt a sensible healthy diet and that has been proven time a again to be no more expensive than the fast, comfort food route. That being true it leaves only laziness as the most probable cause for the obese outbreak that will inevitably lead to greatly reduced lifespans of those who indulge themselves.
You can take a horse to water.....blah blah blah...SAD

For some it is, for some it isn't.. We're all different, and none of us are without any demons.  ;)

Just like smoking, drink, drugs, wars, not obeying speed limits( ::)), etc...

None of them do us any good. The answer is simply to stop, of course. Easily said. Problems of the world solved in one sentence. :y

That is very true - there are some things I have no problems avoiding; I've tried smoking a couple of times, never really felt the addiction there. I can take or leave alcohol and quite happily have a night out without touching a drop and still have fun. Drugs, not that I've ever tried any you understand, but ditto to that - no desire to keep doing that. But food? If I could be the same about that as I am about every other addictive substance I'd be laughing!

And let's not talk about speed limits  :-[ ;D

About 10yrs ago, I had a wee accident, an argument with an inanimate object and lost, and basically ended up eating through a straw for about 2 weeks  :-[

Did nothing to help me lose weight (actually put on a few pound for the first time in years), but I did singlehandedly keep Heinz Tomato Soup in business ;D

 :y :y :y :y :y :y :y  ;)

It is quite amazing when you see the volume & speed of the filling/canning and packing of Tomato soup. Canning is at around 800 cans per min and the wrapping area wraps packs of 24 can at around 50 per min and runs more or less constantly throughout the year.  ;) ;)

mcdonalds is the best fast food. end of. i find kfc disgusting. buckets are just breaded slime and i dont like burger kings chips.

mcdonalds looks like its been kicked around (probably has) but tastes the best.

i generally have 2 big macs and a cheese burger and im done. no fries generally.

as for the health comment you're right it will catch up with her. but i'm willing to bet none of us are saints and at the end of the day we've all got to die of something..... why not death by big mac!!!  :D ;D ;D
