Sorry, got to disagree. Best Torchwood ever. The gay scene was necesary to express the depth of feeling (yuk!) and worked very well though ultimately that plot-line was a dead end.
Dr Who is excellent as usual though my favourite remains David Tennant.

I would find it very hard to decide between her and Eve Myles.

I think I'd just have to have both.
